West Broadway and White Street

The end of an era: the Encyclopedia Britannica has been kicked out to the curb. And even though it’s now online, I always turn to Wikipedia instead. Wouldn’t you? (Here's the article at Wikipedia about the Britannica.)

  1. Sigh... I put my multi-thousand dollar hand tooled leather volumes out on the 'curb' this last trip home. No one would take them, not even Goodwill nor the Salvation Army. They said it took up too much space and does not move off the shelves. Hate to see it as land fill, but at least they are bio-degradable...

  2. Oh no! I would have totally taken these (to cut up and use the pages for collages and such) but they were just too heavy.
