Reading through the tarp, another layer of obfuscation: “If we all do
one random act of kindness daily, we might set the world in the right direction.”
Ironically this "random act of kindness" is actually just another example of the 1% doing whatever they want and who feel that laws do not apply to them.
The sign is a violation of Landmarks regulations. Originally it was hung on the building but they were required to remove it and so a hideous stand was built so they could continue to display the sign.
Due to construction next door the signage has been covered in plastic for ‘protection’ making it even more or an eye sore than it already was.
Finnally someone who had the courage to say something about this awful sign. In a residential landmark disctrict. What are these people thinking? How is it OK for them to put this visual polution on our street? I am reporting it to landmarks commission and NYC.gov department of buildings. It is just wrong.
