79th Street and Amsterdam Avenue


Inside Knitty City, which has an overflowing, library-like section up front, full of books and magazines (for purchase), the salesclerk gave me her recommendation for best book for beginning knitters: Stitch 'N Bitch.

    That's the only knitting book I've purchased so far. Haven't had time to really look at it, but it looks straightforward.
