18th Street and 10th Avenue

This is Frank Gehry’s IAC Building, as seen from the High Line, which seemed rather peaceful and bucolic when I strolled along it recently, but apparently, this stretch of the city is, at times, the new (old) Times Square.

  1. Hi and welcome back to NYC!! Hope that your moving & unpacking went/are going as painlessly as possible.

Also walked the High Line over the summer, and enjoyed it and seeing this building very much. Didn't know that it was designed by Gehry, so thank you for the info. Didn't see signs of the new "old" Times Square, either..but don't think it had hit the news, yet. Looking forward to seeing a Snyppet of New York with my coffee (COSI- have you tried it yet?)in the mornings, Tara! Great to see your work again...

  2. Hi Paula—and thanks for your wonderful comments, as always. I think I've tried every other cup of coffee in town recently but not Cosi! Right now am in Starbucks because of their wifi.
